What it isn't
People are sometimes disappointed that the Life Admin System doesn't contain a place for literally everything in their life. But think about what that would mean. An exhaustive categorisation system for everything that any human might plausibly do. That's going to be β¦ big. And contain a lot of stuff you don't need.
Once we stray from the commonality of life admin, you need to design your
own categories. This is why the Life Admin System is a single area,
10-19 Life admin. We left the areas
20-29 through 90-99 for your own stuff. Maybe you're
a 20-29 Marriage celebrant. Perhaps you have a popular 30-39 Science podcast or are the
40-49 Tennis club president.
Whatever it is, this is stuff that's unique to you. We can't design it, because we're not you.

What software do I need?
The system works with whatever you already use. You'll need an app to manage your index β I recommend Obsidian but you can use any app that either lets you keep a list of notes, or is a database. People use and enjoy Bear, NotePlan, DEVONThink, Notion, Craft, Emacs, and more.
Where is my data stored?
Wherever it is today: I never touch your data. What I give you is structure and process. If your data is on your iCloud Drive today, that's where it stays.
Couldn't ChatGPT design this for me?
You could ask ChatGPT to design you a system. I know, I've tried. The results are okay, but they can't match the quality of ours. And with a shared system, there's lots of community support available.

Move the folders to wherever you save your documents. In each of the categories numbered '11' through '15' you'll see two IDs whose numbers end '.01' and '.09'. These are your inboxes and archives. Move stuff you want to organise into these inboxes.
